Former England captain Jimmy Armfield dies aged 82

England legend and respected broadcaster Jimmy Armfield has passed away at the age of 82 following a long battle with cancer.  As well as playing 569 times for Blackpool during his one-club career, Armfield also captained England 15 times during his 43-cap career.  After managing Leeds and Bolton, Armfield later went on to become one of the most respected broadcasters in football as an analyst for BBC Radio 5 Live.
