The wives of a bigamist have revealed how their lives were torn apart after his web of deceit was uncovered when he appeared on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
Daniel Gundry, 39, was jailed for six months for bigamy yesterday after he was caught out by his estranged first wife Helen Gundry, 51, who spotted him on the ITV show with second wife Sue Brooker, 44.
Speaking together for the first time the pair, who are now friends, revealed the levels of Grundy's deceit, which saw him con them, the police and the church.
Ms Brooker said: 'Everything about our life was a lie. He was lying to me for about five years, the house that we owned - we didn't own that.
'The husband that I had wasn't my husband. And he had huge amounts of debt as well so it was all a lie.
Daniel Gundry, pictured with a balloon with his second wife Susan Brooker, was outed as a bigamist when his first wife saw this TV appearance in March 2016
New-found friends, Mrs Grundy and Ms Brooker said Gundry, who was also cautioned for obstructing police, should have been punished much more
'The police have now validated his lies and he's been lying to Helen for 20 years and lying to me for six years.
'He submitted forged documents to the British Embassy. He's lied to the church, the police - he's lied to everyone.'
Mrs Gundry thought her estranged husband was working away in the Middle East.
So she was stunned when she turned on the ITV1 show to discover him on the arm of artist Ms Brooker.
He was subsequently dumped by both women, who reported him to the police.
Yesterday a judge at Warrington Magistrates' Court told Gundry, who admitted bigamy, that he had caused both wives 'embarrassment, shame and humiliation'. He was jailed for six months.
Speaking with Ms Brooker in June last year, Mrs Gundry said: 'When the police originally investigated the bigamy charge they got back to me to say there had been further developments and would I go in for an interview.
'I messaged Sue saying "hey this is happening and I've been interviewed by the police".'
Mrs Grundy said: 'I want to warn people what Daniel's like. He has got away with it and he'll think he's invincible now.'
And Ms Brooker, who branded Gundry an 'absolute psycho', added: 'It's disgusting, He manipulated, he calculated, he hurt two families and they've just let him off.'
In March 2016 the wedding of Ms Brooker's sister Michelle Blackburn was featured on Saturday Night Takeaway and the deceit was exposed.
Ms Brooker said: 'Daniel was excited to go on TV but when I watch it back he was trying to hide from the cameras. If it wasn't for Saturday Night Takeaway I'd be oblivious.'
The pair were spotted among guests being taken by the television stars to the surprise wedding of Miss Brooker's sister.
It later emerged that Gundry had married Miss Brooker in a luxury ceremony in Dubai a year earlier.
Warrington Magistrates’ Court was told that Gundry lied to Mrs Gundry when she confronted him about pictures of a Seychelles ‘wedding’ (pictured) to Miss Brooker on social media in 2014. Gundry told her the ceremony was not official and was simply a ‘blessing’
Gundry appeared on the TV show as part of the secret wedding ceremony featuring Ant and Dec and his second wife's Susan 's sister Michelle right, and her fiance Sam Blackburn left
Gundry, who worked in audio visuals, married his first wife in 1998 and the couple had a daughter, Daisy, 16, together.
Although the pair split and dated other partners, they never divorced.

But he later forged documents in order to get married to Miss Brooker for real in Dubai a year later in April 2015.
Retail manager Mrs Gundry, from Warrington, Cheshire, said her husband later claimed he had split from Miss Brooker, who has a son from a previous relationship, and even suggested they get back together.
So she was stunned when she and Daisy saw the couple on the Ant and Dec programme in March 2016.

Helen Gundry wrote about her husband's appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway on the show's Facebook page claiming that their daughter was 'in absolute bits'
Speaking of the moment she realised her husband was with another woman on live television, Mrs Gundry said: 'I choked. Daisy yelped, 'Oh my god, it's Dad, he's with Sue'.
'I had to walk out so I didn't break down. Daisy virtually collapsed. I came back downstairs and we just cuddled, I think we both went into shock.
'I don't think I cried until the day after. I was so angry and went on Facebook.'
Gundry's wife and daughter both identified him when he appeared on the TV show
Members of the family were unaware that they were attending Michelle and Sam's wedding which was being broadcast live on ITV to millions of people across the country, including Gundry's first wife, who reported him to the police for bigamy
Following the broadcast mother-of-four Mrs Gundry left a comment on show's social media page, which later went viral. She wrote: 'I loved the wedding and the surprised guests – I didn't love the sight of my husband who's supposed to be working in Dubai (first off the coach Daniel Gundry) arriving on the arm of another woman, a woman he's supposed to have split from last year.
'We have a 15-year-old daughter who's in absolute bits.'
In a victim impact statement, she revealed she had suffered sleepless nights and depression because of his actions.
As she left the court with her daughter in tears yesterday, Mrs Gundry said of her estranged husband: 'He has been lying for a long time so I'm just glad that finally he's been found out.'
Gundry, of Ashford, Surrey, who was not legally represented, told the court he accepted in full the damage he had caused. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.
